Sap 3:1-3

Iustórum ánimæ in manu Dei sunt, et non tanget illos torméntum mortis. Visi sunt óculis insipiéntium mori: illi autem sunt in pace.

But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment of death will touch them. In the eyes of the foolish, they seemed to die, and their departure was considered an affliction, and their going away from us, a banishment. Yet they are in peace.

God's true soldiers applaud, who, in their weary days,

We pray, almighty God, that the twofold joy of today's feast may receive us, which proceeds from the glorification of blessed John and Paul, whom the same faith and the same Passion made truly brothers.
