Beátus vir, qui invéntus est sine mácula, et qui post aurum non ábiit, nec sperávit in pecúnia et thesáuris. Quis est hic, et laudábimus eum? fecit enim mirabília in vita sua.
Blessed is the rich man who is found to be without blemish. And blessed is he who has not gone after gold, nor placed his hope in money or treasures. Who is he? For we should praise him. For he has done wonderful things in his life.

Dómine Iesu Christe, qui, ad mystérium crucis prædicándum, sanctum Paulum singulári caritáte donásti, et per eum novam in Ecclésia famíliam floréscere voluísti: ipsíus nobis intercessióne concéde; ut, passiónem tuam iúgiter recoléntes in terris, eiúsdem fructum cónsequi mereámur in cælis:
O Lord Jesus Christ, who endowed Saint Paul with a singular charity for preaching the mystery of the Cross, and through him were pleased that a new family should flourish in the Church: grant us through his intercession that, continually meditating on your Passion on earth, we may merit to obtain its fruit in heaven:
